1. Service overview
The Rent Reporter ("we", "us") provides a subscription service that helps users verify eligible rent payments and supports reporting those payments to participating credit bureaus through our infrastructure partners.
2. Eligibility and account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Rent verification and reporting
We use data sources you connect (for example, via Plaid) to identify and verify transactions that appear to be rent. Not all transactions will qualify as rent, and we cannot guarantee that any specific transaction will be reported.
Bureau posting timelines and acceptance vary. A tradeline may take several weeks to appear on your credit file after submission, and in some cases may not appear.
4. Pricing and billing
Platform Access membership: $4.98/month or $45/year (save 25%), unless otherwise displayed at checkout.
Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support.
5. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. To request a refund, contact support within 30 days of your initial purchase. Refund eligibility may be limited if required by law, card network rules, or if fraud/abuse is suspected.
6. Prohibited use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access systems without authorization, interfere with reporting, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties that reporting will improve your credit score or that any particular result will occur.
